What does it mean to return to yourself?

Returning to yourself begins with recognising that what is often sought through achievement, validation, relationships, or external circumstances is not absent within. Beneath the noise of daily life, there remains an inner sense of clarity, wholeness, and connection that can easily be forgotten, yet never truly lost. As this connection deepens, there is often a greater capacity to move through life with presence, to understand one's needs and limits more clearly, and to meet others with openness and authenticity.

Yet modern life rarely invites this kind of connection. Much of our attention is directed outward—toward responsibilities, expectations, constant stimulation, and the next thing that requires our attention. Over time, the body is often left behind. What is carried emotionally does not simply disappear. It remains beneath the surface while the demands of daily life continue to accumulate. This can manifest as stress, overwhelm, overthinking, poor sleep, physical tension, and a growing sense of disconnection from oneself.

Returning begins by creating space to slow down, shift from the mind into the body, and listen.

Reiki offers a way back.

How does Reiki support you?

Reiki brings the body into rest and balance, supporting the body’s own healing response. It is gentle, non-invasive, and can be received alongside therapy or medical treatment. Reiki provides:

  • Deep relaxation and nervous system support
Reiki helps the body shift into a calmer and more restful state, which can ease stress, overwhelm, and mental fatigue.

  • Release of physical tension
Reiki can help soften areas of tightness and tension in the body, particularly where stress has been held for long periods of time.

  • Improved sleep and emotional balance
By calming the system and reducing internal stress, Reiki supports better sleep, balance, and an overall sense of ease.

  • Greater awareness of the body and inner state
Slowing down through Reiki helps notice emotions, stress patterns, and physical sensations that are often ignored in daily life.

  • Support alongside other forms of care
Reiki can be received alongside psychotherapy, medical treatment, or other wellness practices as additional support (it does not replace professional medical or psychological care)

  • Space for healing and personal growth
Reiki supports self-reflection, emotional processing, and a deeper understanding of oneself over time.

What Clients Say

“I felt very comfortable and safe with you from the beginning, which made it easier for me to let go”

thank you again for the lovely session.

I felt very comfortable and safe with you from the beginning, which made it easier for me to let go, which is something that isn't always easy for me. Your calm presence, the gentle touch, and the atmosphere you created allowed me to relax more quickly than I usually can. During the session, I went through a deep emotional journey. At one point, feelings of grief came up, and I allowed myself to move through them. It was intense, but in a meaningful and healing way …

I had a very nice Reiki session with Vansika. She was very friendly and booking was easy. When I arrived, she explained everything, and made sure I was comfortable. The atmosphere was very relaxing and so was the treatment itself - very relaxing and grounding. Vansika works very carefully. You will be in good hands with her

About me

I am a certified Reiki practitioner in the Usui Reiki Ryoho lineage. My background includes training in the Western lineage originating with Hawayo Takata. Additionally, I studied the traditional Japanese system of Jikiden Reiki® under Silke Kleemann, whose lineage flows from Mikao Usui > Chujiro Hayashi > Chiyoko Yamaguchi > Tadao Yamaguchi.

Why did I choose Reiki?

For years, I worked as a software engineer in a high-pressure environment shaped by constant thinking, problem-solving, and performance. Over time, that way of living pulled me into the mind and away from awareness of my internal state, emotionally and physically. From the outside, life looked stable and successful. Internally, stress, pressure, and unresolved emotions were quietly accumulating. It became harder to slow down, rest properly, or feel content.

During one of the most overwhelming periods of my life, multiple people mentioned Reiki to me. Interestingly, I also started noticing ads and pamphlets about Reiki everywhere, almost as if life kept pointing me toward it.

I still remember my first session. I fell asleep for the entire 60 minutes and woke up feeling as if a weight had been lifted from my body and mind. What began as personal healing eventually became something I felt called to study deeply and share with others.
